Lieselehof is situated in a very quiet and beautiful area surrounded by vineyards and orchards with splendid panoramic views. The town of kaltern is within walking distance and there is a great variety of shops and restaurants. There is a sports centre near to Lieselehof where you can enjoy tennis, football, athletics, jogging, and also there is a large ice rink. We are also situated near to the Mendel Bahn Station built in 1903 where there are regular alpine trains to take you up to the Mendel Pass (1.363m). This is a very good starting point for splendid mountain excursions. We are very aware of the need to use natural products where possible. The house was built in 1998 using 100% only natural products eg. Slovenian oak, Tuscan Terra-Cotta. Hot water is provided by solar energy alone.

Our holiday apartments are very attractive and consist of a living room, bedroom, cooking area, shower/bidet/wc, safe and satellite colour television. Each apartment has its own private outdoor area where you can enjoy the sunshine with a garden or terrace or balcony. We also offer you a large communal terrace with a large lawn for sunbathing, a barbecue grill, and a private car park. Garage space is available on request. While you relax in the sunshine and enjoy our spectacular panoramic views, your children can play on the swings or the slide or the sandpit. Alternatively you may wish to play table tennis or explore our extensive vineyard (5000m2) which surrounds the house.

For our guests we offer vineyard tours and wine seminars in our own cellar.
