The wine producer Spoleto Ducale is located in the heart of the green Umbria, in a unique and rare crossroads along the river Clitunno: it is halfway between the town of Montefalco, with its splendid architectural works and its monuments and the town of Spoleto that has been celebrated and sang for centuries by artists and poets for its unique landscapes and its huge cultural value.

It's here, that the Cantina dei Colli Spoletini, now Spoleto Ducale was founded in 1969. It is a company that blends the great winemaking traditions with the expert and ancient technique of the workers, updated technologies and the quality of the products of the Umbrian soil.

That's where the great wines of the Spoleto Ducale are from: the Sagrantino, the Rosso di Montefalco, the Grechetto, the Trebbiano Spoletino... prestigious products, that contribut to make Spoleto Ducale a leading company in the winemaking industry.

Spoleto Ducale is also an Extra Virgin Olive Oil producer. The olive oil of the Spoleto Ducale's oil press is produced exclusively with olives from the Spoleto area: they are cold pressed like taught by the ancient Umbrian tradition. They are distinguished by a unique and prestigious taste just like the generous soil where they come from.

The wine producer Spoleto Ducale was founded in 1969 by a small group of wine producers. The real wine production started in 1973 thanks to an historic nucleus of 50 members. After the first years of production they started diversifying the results by selecting the grapes: the members were given precise production standards and in the meanwhile Spoleto Ducale began collecting the most modern technologies.

We have always been aware of the fact that the wine "comes from the vineyard"; from here we developed our philosophy that includes the constant monitoring by qualified staff of the vineyard during all the production phases: from the setting up to the picking up.
