Located just 12km from Merano, at the foot of the Nature Park of the Tessa massif, Naturno is a town in the province of Bolzano, surrounded by a lush vegetations of orchards and woods, which offer several suggestive trails through the surrounding mountains. Equipped for all types of Winter and Summer sports, it is the ideal destination for lovers of good food, long walks and direct contact with the surrounding environment.
The name has certainly pre-Roman origins and was documented for the first time in 1109.

Sites of Interest:
- the Church of St. Procolo, among the oldest in South Tyrol, built in the VII century. It houses beautiful frescoes of the Carolingian period (IX century), preserved in perfect condition, and other masterpieces of the XIV century, in Gothic style, depicting the Creation;
- the Church of Our Lady, in Romanesque style, later consecrated during the XVII century;
- the Church of St. Nicholas, in Tablà, of Romanesque origins;
- the Church of St Oswald, with its Gothic Bell Tower and frescoes from the Baroque period;
- the Castle of Juval, residence of the extreme alpinist Reinhold Messner, whose courtyards are rich in alpine tree species (like the Himalayan cedar), and features the largest collection of Tibetan artifacts;
- the cable car and the hiking Paradise complex of "Monte Sole di Naturno".
