Ponte di Legno: important health resort, summer holiday and winter sports centre, only 9 Km away from the immense snowfields of the Tonale Pass. By cableway it takes only 5 minutes to go from the Tonale to the Presena Glacier which is very well equipped for summer skiing.

The Ponte di Legno-Tonale district, is situated in the middle of Adamello Park and in between that of Stelvio. It is a typical mountain landscape that has a lot to offer those who are looking for a relaxing holiday, in contact with nature, not forgetting sport. In fact hare you can go trekking, climb mountains, raft (in the neighbouring Val di Sole), go horse riding, absail and mountain Bike, not forgetting more traditional sports such as tennis, skating, swimming and lastly golf on a 9 hole course in Valbione.

For those seeking peace and tranquillity the two parks are ideal refuge offering a considerable wealth of flora and fauna to be discovered relaxing in the woods and fields, mountains, mountain farms and shelters setting up based for more demanding excursion towards mountain refuges.

To approximately 40 Km from Ponte di Legno, we find Capo di Ponte that is characterized by an outstanding concentration of rock graffiti, amongst the most numerous and beautiful in the world.

Rock graffiti span almost 10,000 years, from the end of the ice age to the arrival of the Romans (16 B.C.), providing a key to studying and understanding the life, social relationship, economy, trade and religion of these ancient populations. At the beginning of the road to the centre of Capo di Ponte there is GraffitiPark, with dedictical laboratories for prehistoric art and experimental rock archaeology, car parks and picnic areas and lake for fishing.
