Description

Asiago Plateau, also known as the Plateau of the Seven Municipalties, is located in the province of Vicenza, between the Po Plane and the Southern mountain of Valsugana valley. It is a Cimbrian linguistic oasis (celtic-germanic language) between Astico and Brenta rivers, but also a renowned touristic location, thanks to its 500 Km ski runs, its beautiful woods, where you can admire the typical alpine flora and fauna, the military fortress built during the First World War, without forgetting local gastronomic spacialties, such as cheeses (Asiago d'Allevo DOP, Stravecchio di Malga), salami, honey, mushrooms (edible boletus) and potatoes from Rotzo.
