Our wines have a character, an harmony and a taste that reflect the typical features of the environment and soil of this area.
The vineyards spread across a surface area of ten hectares of medium mixture soil, fundamentally clayey.
The running of the vineyards follows standards strictly addressed to obtain highly qualitative grapes, in full respect of the ecological and environmental balance, in fact all wines are from organic farming and attested by ICEA.
The dry pruning, the processing of the land and the management of the water supplies aim to aid a good sanitary condition and at the same time the best ripening degree of our grapes.
Before removing the grape-stalks we select them thanks to a conveyer belt, so that only the best grapes can make it to the wine-making process.
The modern cellar gives us the opportunity to take care of each step of the process; the temperature control of the stainless steel tanks allows us to preserve the typical scent and aroma of any kind of grape, while the frequent and very delicate circulation process used for the red grapes helps us to extract the best quality of tannins, antocians and polifenols.
The sun, the red soil and the closeness to the sea give strength and intensity to our wines.
To respect every distinctive sign of each vineyard means to enhance every single one of our wines:
Sangiovese, with its unrestrained youth, but also very delicate and with an anti-modern flavour;
Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, strong wines, at ease with the Mediterranean climate, jealous of their thrifty production;
Merlot, limited and very close to our environment;
Vermentino, a free spirit close to the sea and Aleatico, son of an ancient culture, full of magic and mystery.
This is how we feel vines and wines must be: magical spirits of our world.
