The Door of the Vallée

Description

The Porta della Vallée, quite land at the gateway to the Aosta Valley, at the foot of snowy peaks.
Its mild and temperate micro-climate produces a varied and multicoloured landscape and gastronomic delicacies of the highest quality.
A haven at the foot of the Alps, where century-old cultures meet and hospitality is always warm and welcoming.
Bard spreads across an imposing rocky promontory, dominated by its fortress, which stands across the valley almost to the point of blocking it.
Hône is a quiet town at the mouth of the Champorcher Valley. From Hône there are various routes into the woods and up to the delightful panoramic views, such as the path up to Pourcil, the path leading up to Serra di Biel (1473m) crossing through the traditional Alpine villages of Biel and Courtil or the scenic walk to the ravine on the Ayasse Torrent.
