Lardaro is a small town in the province of Trento, a few km from the Lombardy, is located in the narrowest part of the Chiese Valley. From the histarical point of view, Lardaro is known for its role during the First and the Second War of Italian Indipendence, when the Austrian Empire decided to built here some forts, in order to control the territory.
The town is the ideal starting point for interesting excursions, on foot or by mountain bike, in the surrounding areas.
- the remains of Larino, Danzolino, Cariola and Revegler forts;
