Osvaldo Viberti is a young wine producer who has been running his family farm since 1993 with the precious help of his father Luigi.
His farm is modest in size, with about 8 estate hectares planted with vineyards and it produces wines like da and two kinds of Barolo, the basic one and the other one "Barolo Serra dei Turchi".
Many factors contribute to make a good wine: the sun, climate, soil composition, geographic position the scrupulous work of the farmer to ensure that the grapes are mature, his careful selection of the best bunches and a thorough examination of each processing cycle.
But above all a strong passion that is the basis of any work of art, something spiritual that comes from inside and that you can perceive when you bring a glass of good wine near to your lips and nose.
Like all the wine producers, Osvaldo wishes to share that charm with the people who taste his wines, since that magic contributed to obtain more rewardin results.
BAROLO SERRA DEI TURCHI
The wine Barolo Serra dei Turchi is produced from a vineyard situated near the winery. After the vinification it is refined in oak barrels for 2 years an then in bottles for 1 year. It is characterized by its granet red color with intense shades of ruby red. Its bouquet is resolute and persistent with trace scents of ripe plum and cherry, revealing the fragrance of violets and vanilla. Well-balanced, rightly tannic leaving a persistent aftertaste with a hint of liquorice.
The wine is produced from 3 vineyards situated in La Morra. It is refined in oak barrels for 2 years and then in bottles for 1 years. It is characterized by its garnet red colour with intense shades of ruby red; its bouquet is resolute and persistent with trace scents of ripe plum, raspberries and blackberries. Full flavour with long delicate persistence and a pleasant tannicity.
BARBERA D'ALBA "MANCINE"
The wine Barbera is produced from the oldest vineyards with an average yield of approximately 45 hl/ha.
It shows shades of intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. It has a risolute and flowery bouquet with trace scents of vanilla and chocolate. Its flavour is round and smooth with its well-balanced acidity revealing a good structure. Refinement takes place in oak barrels for 12 months and then in bottles for 6 months.
Barbera d'Alba wine is produced from grapes coming from three small vineyards in the Santa Maria Town. After fermentation, the wine steel remains for six to eight months and after bottling, is refined for another two months in bottle before being put on sale.
In Glass is a wine with intense red ruby, hot brilliant reflexes, the nose has rich aromas and persistent of ripe fruit. In palate offers a pleasant feeling freshness and balance.
DOLCETTO D'ALBA "GALLETTO"
The wine Dolcetto d'Alba "Galletto" is characterized by its garnet red colour with violet reflections. It has an intense bouquet with trace scents of fruit, cherry and blackberry. Full and harmonious flavour with a slight tannicity. Refinement takes place in steel tanks for approximately 12 months and then in bottles for 2 months.
