Situated amidst the green countryside of Montepulciano, the Azienda Agricola Nottola, owned by the Giomarelli family, is today run by Giuliano, one of the sons. The Estate was founded in 1992 at the behest of Cavaliere Anterivo Giomarelli, whose objective since the outset was to produce wines of quality; in order to best fulfill his dream, he entrusted Riccardo Cotarella with the task of taking care of the Estate's wine production. International recognition soon followed with the Estate's Vigna del Fattore and Nobile di Montepulciano, both earning the Estate a reputation as one of the top wine producers in Montepulciano. The Cantina Nottola cellars are located on the twenty five hectare family-run Estate situated in the ancient Vino Nobile Montepulciano wine region.
Regular observation of both the Estate's vineyards and cellars called for the formation of a team of young technicians who, with daily dedication and with the help of state-of-the-art technology, produce wines that encapsulate all the terroir's characteristics. Moreover, the Estate boasts a farmhouse offering accommodation for 70 guests equipped with all comforts, that offer relaxing agriturismo holidays, strolls amidst olive groves, swimming pool recreation and the chance to savour traditional Tuscan dishes in the restaurant accompanied by the Estate's superb Nobile

We use a technology in constant growth like Inox thermo-conditioned and automatic tun, and we have recently bought also a very modern bottling-machine that is a guarantee for the correct control of the quality of the nozzle.
The most important e fascinating place are The Bottaia and The Barriccaia, situated underground in floor with natural constant temperature. All our cask are in Slavonic oak and French wood destinated at the average of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano the first one and at the Reserva del Fattore the second one.
