Gallery of Accademia delle Belle Arti
The gallery of Accademia delle Belle Arti was located in the present area, the former convent of San Giovanni delle Monache, rearranged to the new use by the architect Enrico Alvino, in 1864. The Gallery houses art masterpieces dated from seventeenth to twentieth century with works by Mattia Preti, de Ribera, Morelli, Mancini and the large Palizzi donation.
