Al Pesce d'Oro Restaurant Amalfi
"Al Pesce d'Oro" Restaurant - Via Augustariccio, loc. Vettica - Amalfi Amalficoast (SA). Tel. +39 089831231 - www.alpescedoro.it
"Al Pesce d'Oro" is a family-run restaurant not too far from the centre of Amalfi, on the road to Positano. Once you enter the restaurant you are immediately met with a cheerful atmosphere and a hearty welcome!
The excellent quality of the ingredients used for the preparation of the dishes is undeniable!
Some useful tips: do not ask for the menu but simply follow Pasquale and Salvatore's advice. They are the restaurant's managers and will certainly recommend you the best dish of the day, combined by a wine that intensifies the taste of the food. And what about pizza? With no doubt one of the best of the Amalfi coast! However, we strongly recommend the large one because the baking is more uniform. As for the topping leave it to the "pizzaiolo" (the pizza maker) and just tell him what you don't like.
"Al Pesce d'Oro" is a place where you can order without having the stress to choose from the menu and where hospitality is routine.
