Ardasai Nuraghe
-
The monument situated about 22 km from Seui, at the northwes base of Mt tonneri 1015 metres above sea level, is a single tower nuraghe made of limestone with an entrance to the southeast and reinforcement wall that incorporate a small soreroom. The partly preserved central tower has a spiral stairway. The monument lies in a strategic position controlling the natural accesses to the Barbagia region: situated on the road that, by means of Mt. Tonnery, connects the SS 198 Isili Tortolì roads,a short distance from the Perd'e Liana, a limestone natural monument. At present the Ardasai archaeological park - which is part of the Percorso Museale Sehuiense or Seui Museum Itinerary - is the nerve centre of an archaeological itinerary that in a radius of a few hundred metres includes pre - and proto historic villages giant's tombs, sacred wells and sacred precincts that are still little known.
