The Flavian Amphitheatre and Serapeo

The Flavian Amphitheatre is the largest arena if the Roman world, an example of the extraordinary skills achieved by the ancient engineering.
It was the centre of the city life: in the underground passages under the external ambulatory there were some places of worship and of trade associations. the visit to the basement which shows the complex organization of the services essential for the functioning of the performances is suggestive.
