Elena Aldobrandini Museum of Texiles and Clothing

The museum sector of Fondazione Mondragone is placed on the first and second floor in halls purposely separated from the spaces meant for temporary exhibitions and events. The first two rooms on the first floor keep the vestments, vestments and holy vessels coming from Santa Maria delle Grazie a Mondragone Church, joined to the Institute. The third rooms, through artfacts (laces and pillow laces for linen, pictures and letters tells the history of the Insitute in the nineteenth and twentieth century, when it was the "Woman Convent of Work" . In the other permanent exhibition rooms the evolution of the History of costum and clothing from 1800 to present days is on display.
