Quattro Passi Restaurant Nerano

Ristorante "Quattro Passi" - Via A. Vespucci 13/n - Massa Lubrense (NA). Tel. +39 0818082800

"Quattro Passi" restaurant is located along the road that from Nerano leads to Marina del Cantone, in a typical Mediterranean landscape. There you can find a fantastic mix of freshness and high quality of the ingredients, together with a friendly staff and a wonderful view!
The dishes we tasted represent the most sublime expression of the Italian cookery, and in particular, of the Campania Region. What we admired most was the attention paid to the preparation of the dishes, the expert touch in combining the ingredients. It is the ideal place to taste fresh fish and enjoy a warm atmosphere leaving everything else outside!
Each course was exceptional: the ravioli stuffed with vegetables and shellfish, the squid stuffed with mint; the baked mullet and the fresh sea salad; the "mezze maniche" pasta with rock-fish, little tomatoes and pumpkin, the "linguine" pasta with courgettes and courgette flowers, and to end with a flourish the baked slice of sea bass.
There's a wide selection of wines and among them an excellent "Les Domainers" 2006: a French and young rosé wine, characterized by apricot and grapefruit scent. We also had a glass of "Dulcemente DOC", a passito wine made from dried Fiano grapes, to go with the pre-dessert (a strudel with pears in syrup) and the dessert (a slice of "ricotta and pere" and a portion of Catalan cream). Finally a very pleasant and unexpected tray of creamy chocolates.
Any other appreciation would be obvious! Tonino and Rita have well-deserved one Michelin star!
