Baia - Archaeological Site

The "Phlegraean Fields", that witness a never ending volcanic activity, are one of the widest and most charming archaeological areas in the world: from Cumae, the site of the first settlement on dry land of the Greek settlers in Campania, with the extraordinary acropolis and the so-called Antro della Sibilla; to Baia, the holiday resort the Roman people preferred, as the sumptuous thermal baths and the imperial villas attest, with the imposing Aragonese Castle, built perhaps on the ruins of a villa belonged to Nero.
