By visiting our region for the first time, you feel as if you ate in a uncontaminated oasis since the surrounding colours, scents, valleys and silence remind us to past times. Someone defined this place as a "casket of unknown beauty" and that is right as in a few thousand kilometers you can not only find mountains and hills, but also plains, woods, rivers and the sea.
The hills where we cultivate our grapevines are 500 metres above the sea level and bound with the Abruzzo region. From this place there is a superb panorama of the Tremiti islands and the promontory of Gargano ad well as of fields of wheat and sunflowers. The wine- making is a family tradition as we have been devoting ourselves to it for three generations.
Built in 2001 on a surface of about 1.000 mq, our winery is based on the most innovative technologies for wine-making. We have a machine which takes the grape-stalks off, and keeps thegrape-stone whole. The fermentation and improvement phases take place in steel drums under controlled temperatures and under the supervision of our oenologist. The ageing of some wines is carried out in "barriques" (barrels) in order to keep their typical characteristics.
