Crecchio, a small town between the montains and the sea, at the shadow of the ancient castle, is part of Abruzzo region of Italy with its "strong" and kind people always devoted to agriculture. The habitat is strongly suited to vine whose wonderful product is wine. In this environment two young brothers, Antonio and Luigi Ulisse, wanted to ensure continuity to the family farm started from their grandfather Antonio but with their mind focused on the future.
So begins the history of " Tenuta Ulisse" winery, just 2 hecters large at the beginning, but about 30 hectares large now, half of whit are planed in rows (" Spurred cordon") about 50 cm high. There are about 4.000 vines per hectare, of the same variety but of different clones in orden to give the wine teste and bouquet. Vine rows are made with the most modern technologies but always with respect for nature and local landscape and this is way wooden poles to minimum and it's always below the limits set by organic farming. Indeed strong emotions thanks to the exclusive wine-making and conservation techniques, always with respect for the health of the consumer.
