At the feet of the Park E.Fiumi, between the acropolis and the piazza dei Priori, in a building built partly in the XII century and partly in the XVI century, was born in 2001 the Restaurant-Wine cellar "Del Duca."
The kitchen is in the hands of chefs-owners Genuino Del Duca (also sommelier "Ais" and "Fisar") and Ivana Delli Compagni who besides rigorously respecting the tradition, create excellent dishes using fresh products rich in meats, vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, mushrooms and white truffles.
Our kitchen staff, besides the gastronomic regular menus, is proudly prepared to offer a series of high-level tasting menus, using among all local ingredients, mushrooms, truffles, local meats, we also have a vegetarian menu. All menus can be accompanied by the best Tuscan wines recommended by our Sommeliers.
The restaurant has a wine cellar with over 500 labels. You can taste them all together with typical Tuscan products (only between restaurant hours).
From the main restaurant room you can enter in our cave. It is divided in two parts: the first one to season hams, salamis and local cheeses; the second hosts over 500 labels of wines, most of them from Tuscany (with all the super-Tuscans) but also from Abruzzo, Piemonte, Sicily, Marche, Molise and some great French wines. At the center of this attractive cave there is a table where two fortunate persons can enjoy a meal in total privacy.
