The restaurant "Paisà" is situated in the old town center of Maiori, one of the pearls of the Amalfi Coast and picture frame of some of the most famous films of the film director Roberto Rossellini.

1946, charmed by the surroundings and the naturalness of the people of the coast, this important director of Italian neorealist cinema, decided to propose Maiori as a production location and filmed the sequences of the film "Paisa", produced with non-professional actors, which he friendly named "funny people, tipsy by the sun, that live their lives finding strength in: the power of their imagination".

The restaurant "Paisà" proposes a large and bright main lounge, elegant and looked after in every detail, a smaller intimate lounge and a cool outside setting for the Summer months, in one of the quiet squares of the old town center.

Tasty sea food specialties, all masterly prepared by our Chef using only genuine products and freshly caught fish, will delight your senses with typical fragrances and tastes of the Divine Coast.

To fulfill this intense experience, all dishes will be associated to a top quality wine, preferably local.
