THE ROOMS
8 rooms, each one supplied with Jacuzzi or idro-massage shower, phone, internet connection and wide windows that look onto the sunny private balcony.
At the first floor, "the four seasons" are each one characterised by colours on themes from the seasons.
At the second floor, the "Spicher" (larder) was for the ancient Walser the room where resources from agriculture, in particular wheat, where kept along the year.
Finally, the "Caminetto", characterised by walls in stone, the "Studio", with the bed in wrought iron, and the "Fienile", once intended for the hold of the hay.
THE BAR
Divided in two parts, the bar was the room next to the shed, where the ancient Walser once used to dedicate them self to the production of the butter ant the typical cheese of Piemonte region: the "Toma".
The milk was heated on the fireplace (which is still undamaged) while in the next room women devoted themselves to other activities: wool-spinning and the manufacturing of the characteristic slippers in rope and tissue: the "Scapini".
Seated on the benches at the sides of the room, the evening was the convivial moment of the day and, around the stove you can still feel the atmosphere of the old-fashioned life.
THE RESTAURANT
The restaurant was once used as a shed for the cows. As an evidence of this you can see the original stone slabs on the floor, the walls, which alternate between the not refined wood and the stones, and the mangers.
Tables and furniture are ancient too: the only addition done is the lighting.
The ancient atmosphere can be felt also in the cooking, exquisitely typical and based on products of the Valsesia valley.

THE TERRITORY
Small village at the foot of the Monte Rosa, in Piemonte, Alagna is the ideal location for who is looking for a dynamic holyday in contact with a surprising nature.
Freeride, heliski, alpine skiing, free-climbing, trekking and much more in the Natural Park of Alta Valsesia, the highest park of Europe.
But Alagna is also amazing foreshortening: walking through the hamlets Dosso, Piane, Rusa, Pedemonte, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the past.
The Sesia river is renowned by the fans of canoeing of all around the world and by the lovers of sportive fishing.
Alagna, inside the wide skiing area of Monterosa-ski, is the home of italian freeriding. Through charming landscapes, it is possible to ski untill Gressoney, Champoluc, Zermatt.
Starting from the winter season of 2004/2005 the new and most technologically advanced cableway directly connects Alagna with Gressoney and Champoluc, joining three valleys already related by culture and traditions.
But Alagna is also trekking and alpinism. The Margherita alpine refuge, at 4559 meters, is the highest in Europe. The Capanna Gnifetti refuge can be reached in one hour walk from the glacier, at the cableway station of Indren. And so on: Pastore, Bors, Alpe Campo, Otro... From every refuge you can enjoy beautiful sights of the Alps.
HISTORY
Alagna is history and culture too. Alagna is a harmonious whole of small villages once inhabited by one of the most fascinating ethnic minority: the Walser. Coming from the Vallese region, from which the name "walliser", after reduced into "Walser".
During more than seven centuries, the population of Alagna has maintained unchanged their language, culture and above all architecture. This last one is exclusive in the utilisation of materials as wood and stone.
Without geographical boundaries, the Walser community is certainly the most characteristic culture of the Alps.
