Pieve is an ancient word that means church.

In fact, back in the 1300's there used to be a church where our farm now is, which was frequented by the people of Pelago (a small town near the farm) and next to this church there was a small monastery run by the Vallombrasani monks. This may be the reason why there is a special atmosphere full of bliss, well-being and serenity here at La Pieve. The harmony between nature, wildlife and people here is unique and almost impossible to find elsewhere. It makes you feel that you have always been here, that everything was created from the love you feel in everything you see. Being situated in the middle of a nature reserve, there is little need to venture far from the farm in order to see pheasants, deer, wild boar, hawks and some others animals that live freely in the surrounding area.In order to respect the environment our farm adheres to the EEC directives for biological farming. This kind of cultivation allows us to have our products aproved and certificated as biological products.

There are two double bedrooms available, one different from the other. Special and unique, giving you a sense of senerity, harmony, homeliness and comfort. La Pieve also offers a splendid relaxation area with a pool, parasol, deck chairs and barbeque.

Services

Pool

Immerse yourself in pure nature and enjoy beautiful views of the valley, of olive trees and the sky. We also have a splendid relaxation zone equiped with recliners and deck chairs to sunbathe. We provide table-tennis and a volleyball net also.

Horse riding

New facilities built inside the farm, equiped to offer the best services to people fond of horses. Horseback riding (not for beginners) or horse lessons (not on Monday)We suggest to book your lesson or horseback riding in advance to be sure to
find horses available.

Restaurant

We offer creative and rich cooking, always original and strictly homemade. Our food is prepared meticulously from starters to desserts, preserving the natural flavors of the ingredients. We provide tasty menus for people who love to eat healthily (and well).We are very proud of very own house wine and biological olive oil. We also make our own dessert wines (vin santo and Nocino).
