Between Tuscany and Umbria, midway between Rome and Florence, between Orvieto and Chiusi, in the middle of a green valley of 450 hectares, crossed by the river Chiani, some ancient farmhouses scattered along the country have been turned into charming and comfortable little hotels.

All the restaurations and the new buildings have been carried out by skilful artisans who are experienced in working stone and fired brick, preserving the typicalness of the rural architecture of Umbria.The resort has a wellness centre, restaurants, swimming-pools, multipurpose sports ground, riding school and club house.

The country riding school was born from the love that the owners of La Csella have always had for the horses. Furthermore it is an affiliated centre FISE and thanks to the presence of its federal instructors, you will learn how to horse with single or collective lessons.For the most skilled riders we organize also one hour (or more) walks along the paths of the river. During springtime and in autumn we organize trekkings of more days in order to visit our nearest castles, wine cellars and small medieval villages.

With the Equestrian Resort the farm holiday centre becomes a charming hotel.
Some ancient stone farmhouses have been converted into little hotels. They are fit with stylish furniture and original pictures of artists who lived and worked in the art workshop of La Casella.
Some rooms are furnished with romantic forniture, such as tester beds.
Since every hotel was a stone farmhouse, every room has its particular personality based on an old-fashioned and discreet reception.

The hotel La Quercia

The hotel La Quercia is situated in the main body of the hotel and every hotel service is at disposal. Thanks to its structure and its position, the hotel is particularly suitable for families.Its 6 rooms are just over the restaurant and.it is possibile to choose communicating rooms, the restaurant offers menus for children and they can freely play in the big garden.

The hotel La Terrazza

Thirty years ago, when La Casella was also a hunt riserve, the farmhouse hosted a lodge with 9 rooms.It is only 800m far froma the main body of the hotel and some stairs link the hotel to the restaurant Le Noci.

The hotel Le Noci

It is situated in the very heart of the farm and it is the oldest farmhouse, since it was built in the early 1800.The restaurant of the Equestrian Resor is situated in a big hall with cross vaults, boiseries and a big fireplace always lighting during wintertime.Another big 100m hall, near the restaurant and overlooking the valley, hosts the club of the Equestrian Resort and can become a meeting room in case of business meetings.

The hotel San gregorio

The hotel San Gregorio is situated on a hill from which it is possibile to enjoy an overlook of the whole farm.The farmhouse, with its 10 rooms, forms part of a little ancient villane, recently restored.The little villane of San Gregorio is only 1100m far from the main body of the hotel and it is linked with the restaurant Le Noci by a little practicable path winding along the wood.With its panoramic swimming pool, the hotel is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday.
