The restaurant "La Bandiera" born on 1977 thanks to the in initiative of Mrs. Anna D'Andrea which, come back to Civitella Casanova from Rome after 20 years of working experience as cook, she tooks the decision to transform an old tobacconist's in a restaurant, at that time the only one refreshment-point around a range of tens kilometers between the wonderful hills situated in the Pescara province.Today the family tradition is still going on thanks to the work of her son, Marcello Spadone, pratically grown up in the kitchen at the side of his mother, he has attended the Pescara Hotel Institute, and has "improved" his skill by the several stages carried out in the most important italian restaurants.By now since years together his wife Bruna Sablone, precious and inexhaustible partner, he manages the restaurant that in the meanwhile has become a prestigious point of reference in the gastronomic proposal for the regional area and outside of it too, gaining itself a remarkable regard in the opinions of the most stricts oenogastronomic italian critics.It's present in all the most important national guides of this sector with excellent valuations and gratifying appreciations.
