Careful maintenance of the vineyards in conjunction with traditional working experience and advanced production methods play an important role in the production of our good wines.
Working together with our agrarian- and viticulture engineers and by providing the best equipment to process the vineyards, we maintain the high quality of our products.
To meet the optimal requirements, we began the complete rebuilding and new building of our winery (wine cellar, office, vinotheque, except the history block). The complete wine cellar has been pulled down and new, modern wine cellar, office etc. was built and has been equipped with the newest technology. We did that, because we want to be ready for the technical and economical challenges of the future. Therefore we decided to build an new wine cellar with all the facilities of a modern and efficient wine-production, logistic, and so on, as a better economical foundation and basis instead of a rebuilding the wine cellar. This also guarantees a better and higher efficiency.
Our winery is situated in the old picturesque village, Girlan, in the middle of South Tyrol's largest wine growing area, Überetsch. It is a family business which was founded in 1852. We devote ourselves to the traditional production of classic South Tyrol wines, which have often received awards in the international arena. We are particularly proud of the speciality wines we produce, using the grapes from our vineyards.
We have been supplying our wines to many countries in Europe, Asia and USA, as well as our home market in South Tyrol and Italy, for many decades.
Our wine range contains all South Tyrol wine varieties.
We have three special lines on offer:
"CLUB TRADITION" contains 14 different wines, which represent nearly the whole South Tyrolean range is represented. Careful selection.
"CLUB GOURMET" - The line "CLUB GOURMET" has been dedicated especially to wine connoisseurs. These fine quality wines are produced exclusively in the vineyards of our own estates.
"CLUB FINESSE": Selected high-class white and red wines are a collection of Riserva + Cuvèe wines. The excellent quality of this wines has been achived by a traditional production method. Maturing in barrique casks for several years entitles some wines to be called "RISERVA". All of these vigorous full bodied wines age very well.
