The building of the Pünthof begun already in the Middle Ages right there where in Roman times the well-known road "Claudia Augusta" led to the North: This historical house lies only 3 kilometres away from Meran/o, known as the "Castrum Maiende" of Roman times and nowadays a health resort famous all over the world. The "Pünthof" in Algund/Lagundo is in beautiful location among lush orchards and vineyards.In the year 1633 Mr. Christian Wolf came from the region Bayern and settled with its family in the Pünthof in Lagundo thus laying the foundation stone of a long and prolific time of work, joy and love for the whole family. The Wolfs are still managing this historical farmhouse.Gerti and Alex Wolf offer their guests comfortable spacious rooms as well as holiday apartments in wonderful and quiet location among orchards and vineyards.

The Wolfs renovated their house and barn with love and with particular attention to preserve the harmony between past and present.Beautiful frescos of the 13 th century were brought to light only recently and testify the cultural active times in which the Pünthof was home for joy and fine arts.We offer our guests a traditional background, yet at the same time every comfort - all of it with a touch of romance.

We offer our guests a quiet and well-cared ambience for environment, a warm and informal atmosphere and a breakfast buffet prepared with proper care and served from 8 to 11 am.Despite its quietness and isolation, our House is only about 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
