Malga Riondera ( 2500 feet above sea level ) is a bioagritourism structure located in an old country rural characterized by a typical stone roof of the Lessinia area and made prettier by a large meridian. The farm is located in the centre of a large meadow surrounded by woods of conifers with the possibility of carrying out walks on the surrounding mountains. A large nut tree offers its magical shadow in sunny days, the water comes from a spring, bees are grown up and cows are present up to the end of the summer.

The building has been completely restored recently according to of bio - building principles by using of eco compatible materials and paints and by realising the electrics in such a way to avoid creating harmful electrical fields. Solar panels and wood integrate the heating of hot water allowing an improved saving of energy and less impact on the environment. The rubbish is also separated. There are three rural apartments, with large kitchens where it is possible to cook in an autonomous way, each apartment has one or two large double beds with hammocks and a total of two, four,five beds in each room Furniture is simple and adeguate to the farm.
The apartment on the ground - floor has three beds and is accessible to handicapped people.
When available, it is possible to use the rooms with breakfast ( bed and breakfast ).Is is possible to house groups of people who desire to spend a period at the farm for educational activities or simply to relax. At the first floor it is possible to open a door between the two apartments by creating a joint space suitable to house up to twelve people in three rooms.
From the old barn, a stube has been built where there is a wood oven to cook the bread and where it is possible to eat in groups and carry out educational activities with the possibility of connection to ADSL broadband ( by previous agreement ).Furthermore it is possible, on request, to use an autonomous heated room ( 48 sqm ) close to the farm for relaxing activities and body movement. If you don't want to cook we have an agreement with some restaurants at the Sega di Ala ( 6 km ) where it is possible to eat and savour the traditional Trentino cooking.

As an alternative to the pleasure of doing nothing, for those who wish to, it is possible, by previous agreement, to partecipate to some activities which are proposed to the guests:
"EXPLORE THE NATURE" : exploring visits in the territory of the National Park of Lessinia for half or a full day to visit the tunnels of the First World War ( I Busoni ), the path of the farms in Trentino and Verona areas, the natural stone bridge of Veja, the prehistoric area of Camposilvano, the Sphinx Valley, the Park of Molina waterfalls, the Naturalistic Park of Erbezzo, the cimber Village of Giazza with its Museum, the Museum of foxils of Bolca, the heights of Monte Baldo with the splendid view of the Lake of Garda and the flower reserve of Corna Piana. ( it is possible, by previous booking, to be accompanied by an environmental guide ).

"EXPLORE THE CULTURE" Is is possible to visit the nearby medioeval Castle of Sabbionara d'Avio, the historic centre of Ala and the Museum of antique piano, the museum of MART of Rovereto.

"EXPLORE THE TERRITORY": It is possible to visit the Lake of Garda, the Valle dei Ronchi ( the Ronchi Valley ) and the Group of Piccole Dolomiti ( Little Dolomites ), the town of Trento or Verona ( one hour drive or one hour train ).

1.Walks or bike tours in the nature which can be carried out autonomously.
2.Parties, folk music and dances, community games, reading moments .
3.Laboratories on the subject of the environmental sostenibility and sensibility to life in collaboration with local associations ( see updated programs on the web site ).
Malga Riondera can be reached by car by using the exit of Ala-Avio of the Modena-Brennero motorway; after the town of Ala di Trento you drive southbound, on the main road for about three Kilometres , where there is a deviation, for S.P. 211 of Monti Lessini. You drive on for another six Kilometres and after passing a tunnel, you arrive on a large plain in the middle of which Malga Riondera is situated. A sign on the road will welcome you.
Main trains on the railway line Verona - Brennero stop at the Ala railway station and in order to promote the use of eco compatible tools of transportation, we will come to pick you up when you arrive and we will take you back to the station when you will leave..
