Welcome! We are pleased to have you guests: Our Restauranti s the result of a loving restoration of what was a small rural borough, until 40 years ago, on the outskirts of Castellina in Chianti. (It was named "Albergaccio"). Times change, and where there was once the old threshing floor si now a welcoming terrace where you can eat outside during the wormen.

The local stone, called alberese, the Tuscan terracotta from Impruneta, cypress ceiling beams typical to this area... what can you say?... it is the surrounding area that guides us. The surrounding territory in the architectranic charachteristics, in the furnishing, in the materials... And the local traditions especially in the kitchen. Our motto: "the territory on the table" is not a mere slogan but a way of life, that we offer our guests. In our kitchen we use only fresh ingredients. There are no pre-prepared substances, no frozen foods, no glutamates and no canned foods. We choose local products from reliable sources who are often using biological or integrated methods. The colours, the flavours, the fragrances... each season has its own.A good kitchen needs a good cellar!.People often believe, however, that a great cellar is one with a great many bottles. I think that a great cellar is above all one with good wines. Good wines to drink not for making an impression. This is my idea and here is my selection.

There are many of possibly occasions to receive our competence that we can offer you at your complete disposal. With our banqueting service we are able to arrange any kind of event, minimum 4 uo to 270 persons, in your house, in exclusive castles, in an "agriturismo" or a villa. Beyond this, on request we do organise flower bouquets or do take care about the musical part of your celebration (any genre of music).

We do organise also entertainment and photosand videos.A dinner that remains in memory of your guests, but also an extraordinary wedding celebration that might be unusual. Imagine: a castle from 1200 in a wonderful landscape, a jester, musicians with bagpipes, welcoming you by rambling and trompeting, bridesmaids who throw roses to your feet while passing... Then, during dinner, enjoy the entertainment of artists and actors, and of course, music. Enjoy typically tuscan dishes. Also all waiters in costumes. All this including through a careful and punctual service
