These are the most famous Spas, with the classification of their thermal waters:

- Bagni di Lucca (LU): the thermal waters are rich in sulphate, bicarbonate and calcium, at a temperature of 54°C;
- Bagni di Petriolo (SI): the thermal waters are rich in sulphur, salt, sulphate, bicarbonate and alkaline at a temperature of 43°C;
- Bagni di San Filippo (SI): the thermal waters are rich in sulphur, solphate and bicarbonate at a temperature of 52°C;
- Bagno Vignoni (SI): the thermal waters are rich in bicarbonate, sulphate and alkaline;
- Casciana Terme (PI): the thermal waters are rich in bicarbonate, sulphate and calcium at a temperature of 36°C from the Mathelda souce and bicarbonate, sulpahte, sodium-chloride, litium at a temperature of 16°C from the San Leopoldo source;
- Chianciano Terme (SI): the thermal waters are rich in bicarbonate, sulphate and calcium;
- Cinquale (MS): salt-bromo-iodic thermal waters;
- Elba (LI): salt-bromo-iodic sea water;
- Equi Terme (MS): thermal - sulphurous - radioactive waters;
- Gambassi Terme (FI): salt-bicarbonate-magnesic-chalybeate-carbonic waters;
- Impruneta-Terme di Firenze (FI): mineral waters, salt-bromo-iodic sulphur waters;
- Montesummano Terme (PT): salt-sulphate-alkaline waters;
- Montecatini Terme (PT): salt-sulphate-alkaline waters at a temperature between 24°C and 34°C;
- Montepulciano (SI): salt-bromo-iodic waters;
- Radincoli (SI): thermal waters rich in sulphate, bicarbonate, magnesium, iron, arsenic at a temperature of 51°C;
- Rapolano Terme (SI): thermal waters rich in sulphate, bicarbonate and calcium;
- San Carlo Terme (MS): oligomineral waters at a temperature of 12°C;
- San Casciano dei Bagni (SI): thermal waters rich in fluorate, sulphate, magnesium, calcium and sulphur at a temperature of 42°C;
- San Giuliano Terme (PI): thermal waters rich in sulphate, bicarbonate and alkaline at a temperature of 38°C (Ponente Baths) and 40°C (Levante Baths);
- Saturnia (GR): thermal waters rich in sulphur, carbonic, sulphate, alkaline at a temperature of 37°C;
- Volterra (LI): thermal waters rich in sulphate, bicarbonate, calcium and magnesium.
