Serrara Fontana is the smallest and the highest town of the isle of Ischia; it has preserved its typical architecture and the economy is especially based on agriculture.A walk in the hills, woods, vineyards and orchards can give very relaxing moments, discovering old traditions, sounds, tastes and sensations. Not to be missed is an excursion on a mule to Epomeo Mount, mythological and legendary giant that dominates the coast below and offers a breathtaking views over the Gulf of Naples. Many natural beauties are concentrated on the coastline of Serrara Fontana: Sant'Angelo, Cava Grado, the Maronti, the Fumaroles, Cavascura spring and the thermal baths, the small square. Sant'Angelo is a tiny fishing village with a fabulous atmosphere.
