Forino is a very charming town in the province of Avellino of ancient origins. It still retains traces of the medieval district with the Palazzi Picella, Caracciolo and Laudari. The monumental part mainly features religious buildings, such as the Church of St. Nicholas, the Church of the Rosary, the Church of St. Stephen and the Church of the Annunziata, the latter with a fifteenth-century layout and an artistic, wooden choir.
