Summer-School on Mathematical Physics

Ravello, 10th-22nd September 2007

The XXXII edition Summer-School on Mathematical Physics will be organized as follows:

Basic courses:

1. Ubiquitous Diffusion (1st week, Prof. A. Fasano - Firenze);

2. Non linear problems involving fractional diffusions (2nd week, Prof. L. Caffarelli - Austin);

3. Blow up in Continuum Mechanics and scale limits in Statistical Mechanics (1st and 2nd week, Prof. E. Presutti - Roma).

High Courses:

1. Mathematical problems on Capillarity: connection between moecular theories and Continuum Mechanics (1st week, Prof. H. Gouin - Marsiglia);

2. Computational methods for kinetic equations (1st week, Prof. L. Preschi - Ferrara);

3. Thermoelastic Deformation of Porous Media (2nd week, Prof. D. Iesan - Iasi);

4. Moving frames and symmetries of differential equations (2nd week, Prof. P. Olver - Minneapolis).
