ITALIA IN MINIATURA IS OPEN FOR THE HOLIDAYS
A theme park always open, solidarity, special offers and ... a great movie in the theatres: here is what Italia in Miniatura plans for the holiday season.
Even under the snow you can rely on the traditional Christmas theme park stroll! The miniature display, which includes over 270 scale reproductions of monuments and architectural marvels of Italian art, will stay open until 6 January from 9.30 to sunset every day. Winter admittance tickets are 10 Eur (adult full price) and 7 Eur (junior and over 65). Admittance is free to children below 100 cm. Note: On December 25, 2009 the park opens at 13.00 and on January 2010 at 11.00 respectively
* Italia in Miniatura ... Christmas and solidarity! *
For every child who visits the park from 24 December to 6 January 2010, Italia in Miniatura , the park will devote part of the ticket proceeds to charity Association "Children of the World", a non -profit organization supported by Rimini Chamber of Industry, which deals with child in distress in the poorer areas of Bolivia, Albania, Palestine, India and Zambia. In the days of the initiative, the young visitors will receive a Christmas Card and a thank-you note.

The Holy Child sleeping in the manger is the symbol par excellence of Christmas in Italy. Italia in Miniatura supports the two most original nativity scenes on the coast: the monumental Sand Nativity, open throughout the holidays at Bagni Tiki 26 on the promenade, and the Scuba Divers' Nativity emerging from the waters at the New Marina di Rimini on December 25th, saluted by thousands of people.
* The Seasonal Pass 2010: put under the tree a season of fun! "*
The Seasonal Pass 2010 is just the perfect Christmas sock filler: it makes it possible to come back to the park unlimitedly, parking charges included, from March 28th until 1 November 2010 at a special price of 21 Euro for Adults and 16 Euro for kids but only if purchased by May 31st 2010. From June 1st 2010 the price of the pass will be back to standard, i.e.: 30 Euro (adults) and 23 Euro (kids).

Fans of Italia in Miniatura who live too far from Rimini can review their favorite park comfortably seated in a theatre chair, thanks to Leonardo Pieraccioni's newest movie I & Marilyn, playing in Italian cinemas from 18 December.
