From 28th May to 25th September (entrance 6/4 euro) Aragonese Castle of Otranto (Lecce) will play host to the exhibition "Dalì The genius", curated by Alice Devecchi. This event opens the third season of great exhibitions of the Castle of Otranto, a cultural center run by Sistema Museo Co-operative Society of Perugia and Communication Agency Orione of Maglie, under the artistic direction of architect Raffaela Zizzari. After the success of the last two years with the exhibitions of Joan Mirò and Pablo Picasso, which recorded 90 thousand visitors, the Castle opens its doors once more for one of the most important contemporary artists of the 20th century. An artist who became a point of reference for art and culture and a national and international level.

The exhibition displays six original bronze sculptures, including "Cosmic Elephant" (large - h 120 x 90 x 350 cm), and a selection of fifty-four original lithographs, ranging in the world of surreal to illustrate themes and literary texts and that once again testify to the great Spanish master's graphic capability. From the gothic climate decanted into surrealism black and white of "The Castle of Otranto", to the pale colors of "Japanese Fairy Tales", from the void of color paper left bare in "Tristan and Isolde", to the black and gold glitter of the "Amours Jaunes", Dali falls with its diverse range of expression in the real Aragonese Castle of Otranto.
