Online the first website AuditoriumRavello.it, www.auditoriumravello.it
After eight years from the release of the project by Oscar Niemeyer and two years since the beginning of the actual works in Ravello, today the AuditoriumRavello.it is online. It all started on the 26th September 2006 when the famous contemporary architect, Oscar Niemeyer, presented his project to the Ravello Foudation president, Mr Domenico De Masi. He also highlighted of enthusiastic he was about the project and presented it in details. The idea was to create a architectural complex which had not to be too expensive, simple and dared, but at the same time something able to fit with harmony with the surroundings although being easily recognisable. There have been many discussions in the past six years and a committee, ProAuditorium Committee, has been founded to pursue the realization of the project and constructions began on 26th October 2006 and still run at present. Today, for the first time, a website has been created specifically for the Auditorium and all the article that had been written about it, together with the picture of the working progress, are now collected here for everyone to be able to see how it has gradually grown with time.
