CineShow is the first qualified trade show on the Italian scene aimed at creating a meeting point for supply and demand in all sectors of the audiovisual industry. An expo of the equipment, products, services and solutions for cinema, television and multimedia, CineShow is a unique opportunity for companies who provide services for the entire sector, from production to post-production to distribution.
The ideal location to present the first edition of CineShow could be no other than Turin.
The Piemoteese county borough has been chosen for the event as a homage to its cultural specificity, characterized by the history of the Italian film industry. Turin is home to the National Museum of Cinema as well as the International Film Festival taking place in November. This city has invested in the film industry by sponsoring projects such as Virtual Reality and the Multi Media Park; a unique complex consisting in avant-guard technologies for production and post-production of audiovisual multimedia prototypes with specific attention at the innovations in virtual reality.
The fruition of images is ever more geared towards digital technologies. This technological revolution is still in a primordial phase and will determine a complete renovation within the distribution of the audiovisual system. As such, new opportunities for a cultural market on the look-out for high standards in quality-whether it be home videos, or professional films, fiction TV, documentaries, short-films, commercials and video clips will view its novelties during the event.
CineShow will highlight innovative technologies in all sectors of the audiovisual industry, aimed at professionals and the public, directed at diverse channels, from the large screen to home television, video and web TV. A way of developing the commercial sectors and emerging tendencies in the field.
