The Chamber Music Festival held in the Church of San Pantaleone a Pieve, is surely one of the most interesting cultural events that Versilia has to offer during the summer. The concert season, organised by the Culture Councilship in the District council of Massarosa in collaboration with the Lucchese Music Association, allows you to listen to important chamber music performed by internationally renowned artists. However, the programme for the recitals is in not the only notable feature of this event. Infact, the concerts take place inside the romanic parish church of San Pantaleone which is an extremely interesting construction from an architectural point of view as well as being gifted with perfect acustics. The history of this event, born in 1967, has been confirmed as being a very important cultural activity in the Luccesia. Infact, the festival in not only important because it offers tourists resident in Versilia a great occasion, but also because it is a moment of truly important cultural production. Many productions are put on specifically for this festival and there is a lot of collaboration among artists who, thanks to the festival have been realised. In addition, the festival consents young talented musicians to perform alongside internationally famed artists, in this way contributing to the growth of a new generation of great performers. 31/7 Andrea Lucchesini (pianoforte), musica di Scarlatti, Schubert e Chopin.
3/8 Antonello Farulli (viola) e gli archi del Quartetto di Torino
10/8 Vanessa Benelli Mosell (pianoforte), musiche di Scriabin, Liszt, Haydn e Brahms.
13/8 Isabelle Faust al violino, Alexander Melnikov al pianoforte, musiche di Beethoven
17/8 Quartetto Auryn.
21/8 Trio di Milano, Mariana Sirbu al violino, Rocco Filippini al violoncello e Bruno Canino al pianoforte con un programma completamente dedicato a Beethoven.
24/8 Pietro De Maria (pianoforte),musica di Chopin
31/8 Kirill Troussov (violino) e Alexandra Troussova (pianoforte), musica di Brahms, Beethoven, Vitali, Mendelssohn, Paganini e Tschaikovsky. dott.ssa Isabella Biagini
